  • Metal destroys Inscriptions when pierced or sliced.
  • Metal armor or weapons prevent Spark activation.
  • Use non-metallic gear (leather, wood, bone, ceramic, Ironwood).
  • Costs 1 action in combat. No roll required.
  • Anyone can activate a Spark — no magical training needed.
  • One charge consumed per activation.

(WP Spent × Ratio) + Skill Modifier = Total Charges

  • Inscriptor’s max WP is reduced by the amount spent until the Spark is exhausted or destroyed.
  • Recharging a non-exhausted Spark costs 4 WP per charge and takes one stretch of time.
  • Materials at Ceramic tier or above require Skill Level 12+ in both Crafting and Inscription.
